Cardio Cricket is an initiative set up to help individuals who would not usually take part in sport or physical activity, to make a change and start to engage in sporting activity.

The fitness aspect focuses on basic cricket related exercises, mixed with playing cricket to help encourage people to take part in the sport. It is an alternative format of cricket at grassroots level for men, women, girls, boys fitting in perfectly with making cricket more accessible for all and helps to connect communities and to discover and showcase their passion for cricket.

Cardio Cricket is made up of 2 parts, we have some beginner fitness fun with some cricket related exercises then play some enjoyable games of cricket.

It’s a great place to socialise and meet new people as well as hear about lots of similar projects going on. The sessions are comfortable for all females, welcoming and safe. Attending these sessions will be beneficial in helping to become physically active and can have immediate and long term health benefits.
